Currently looking for a Director of Finance/Controller health system in Central Illinois.
The ideal candidate will have related healthcare finance experience.
Responsibilities of the Director of Finance/Controller o Responsible for the daily operations of the hospital's accounting, finance and decision support functions.
o Effectively uses available resources to address financial issues towards the continued success of the organization.
o Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
o Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
o Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
o Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Requirements of the Director of Finance/Controller o Bachelor of Arts/Sciences in Accounting/Finance with Five to eight years of related healthcare finance experience and/or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Budgeting and financial planning experience required.
o Current CPA license and Masters of Business Administration or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Fund or not-for-profit accounting experience and/or cost accounting experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
